These terms apply to ReviewMyChess (reviewmychess.com), operated by Philipp Scheer ("we"), Montleartstraße 1b, 1140 Vienna, Austria. Contact: hello@reviewmychess.com. How we handle your data is explained in our Privacy Policy.

The service

Free game review: review a single Chess.com game in your browser with Stockfish 19. The engine runs on your device, and the game is fetched from Chess.com's public Published-Data API.

Profile analysis (paid): you sign in with a login link sent to your email (there are no passwords) and claim a Chess.com username by confirming that it is your profile. We don't verify this. We then mirror all public games of that profile from Chess.com's public API onto our servers and update them hourly. Your browser analyzes the games with Stockfish and uploads the results, which we store. We show statistics (games played, won, lost and drawn), accuracy and move classifications.

AI assistants: through our MCP connector, AI assistants such as Claude or ChatGPT can request free reviews of single games, which run on our servers, and, if you connect your account, read the statistics of the profiles you subscribe to. The connector guide explains how.

Prices and free trial

• Each Chess.com profile costs €3 per month or €30 per year, VAT included.
• Your first profile comes with a 7-day free trial. We collect a payment method at signup, email you a reminder 3 days before the trial ends, and the subscription becomes paid automatically unless you cancel before the trial ends.
• Additional profiles cost the same, without a free trial.
• Subscriptions renew automatically every month or year until you cancel.

Payment

Payments are handled by Stripe Managed Payments. Link (by Stripe) is the merchant of record and reseller: your card statement shows "LINK.COM*", and Link sends your receipts and invoices. You can manage your orders and get payment support at link.com.

Cancellation

You can cancel anytime on the account page (via the Stripe customer portal) or at link.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. There are no partial refunds, except when you withdraw from the contract.

Right of withdrawal (EU consumers)

If you are a consumer in the EU, you can withdraw from the contract within 14 days of concluding it, without giving a reason.

At checkout, you request that the service starts immediately. If you then withdraw, you pay a pro-rata amount for the time the service was already provided (nothing for the free trial), and we refund the rest within 14 days.

Fair use

Use the service fairly: no abuse, no scraping and no reselling.

No guarantees

Engine evaluations may be inaccurate. The service is provided as is, without any guarantee of availability.

Ending the service

We may end the service with 30 days' notice. In that case, we refund any prepaid period you haven't used.

Changes to these terms

We announce changes to these terms by email 30 days before they take effect.

Governing law

Austrian law applies. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of your country of residence.
